Rings are bent back to allow ease of line travel. Reel seat very good titanium looks great and performs very well. The one drawback i find is that this rod seems very heavy for such a quality rod and is very hard on the wrists after a few hours of hard casting, but saying that it does cast a great, long line so worth the extra effort. All in all a great rod i'd give it overall score of 90 percent"
