Before beginning a full-time painting career, Mike spent several summers as a fishing guide
in the state of Montana. For over twenty-five years he has traveled throughout the world
fishing and painting.
Mike’s illustrations have appeared in numerous publications including Trout, Outdoor Life,
Fly Fisherman and Rod and Reel magazine. Mike has also illustrated several books on
fly-fishing for many authors including Jack Dennis and Randall Kaufmann.
