The steel grade on these knives is 440A, which is far superior to the cheaper and more commonly used 420. However, the factory incorrectly marked these 440C, so grab a bargain while stocks last.
To avoid confusion the hole in the handle is NOT suitable for a lanyard as it prevents the blade from opening if a lanyard is fitted.
