"Went lure fishing today for pike. The water was discoloured by rain, so i started off with all kinds of rattling rapalas etc, but nothing was taking. I put one of these out of boredom if im being honest to see how far the monster would cast, and give my mates a bit of a laugh! But on the second cast the laugh turned in to a very hard take by a good 7LB pike, not bad considering even the top name lures could not produce on the day.

Unfortunatley I did lose the lure after a heavy handed cast deep into some rushes. I'm sure it would have produced more fish that day, but thats life.

Dont be put off this lure by its size and weight, I wont judge lures so easily myself after today."
