You can find the Teknolite in the dark because it is the only flashlight that uses self generating gaseous tritium light sources (GTLS) as locator lights, which are guaranteed to glow for 10 years. In other words, the Teknolite has a Glowring (AKA Traser) built into the head of the flashlight. Therefore, the locator lights glow without any need for exposure to light or an external power source.
The Teknolite uses four high quality Nichia LEDs to product a bright, white, flood light. These LEDs never burn out and are low drain, which mean that they provide 17 times more battery life.
