"Are you a fan of telescopic rods? Well until this new range of Specialist G.T. rods became available I can tell you, I wasn't.
I have tried most telescopic rods over the years; please do not get me wrong a few were good - especially the short spin type rods, but to me they all lacked something.
What I disliked more than anything was the obvious lack of guides and in longer models how fat they were. The answer was plainly simple, why stick to the old rules and continue down this route, or why not start from scratch.
Along with some brilliant engineers our plan started to come together. The brief was simple, could we make a range of telescopic rods to cover all disciplines that not only looked like conventional rods but also fished like them.
Months of developments and even more months of testing resulted in our 2007 range of G.T. Telescopic rods.
We didn't stop there we decided to put them all in a custom carry tube. This tube cares for your rod whether it goes around the world or if it stops in your car boot until you need it.
A simple idea that has resulted in some superb rods. Not just rods but fishing rods that work!
Now you can be fishing among other anglers with old generation telescopic, the only problem is no one will know that your rod is a telescopic."
