"This is a well designed, stylish and robust reel. What more needs to be said? Well, having had several dozens of reels in over 30 years of fly fishing, my criteria for choosing a reel these days is very firmly reliability, robustness, ease of use, and longevity! This reel has, so far, performed well for over a year, so I suppose the longevity bit hasn't been tested much, however the reel is well made, so it should last! The spool system is a slip on design which is easy to use, even with cold wet hands, it is relatively idiot proof (that's why I like it) and the large arbor design means it is kind to your lines as well. The offset reel seat has a modern look and feel to it, the drag system is smooth and gradual and the overall finish is of a high enough quality to make you think you had a reel which cost a lot more than you paid for it!
I bought one of these reels for a friend of mine and unfortunately it had a slight manufacturing flaw in it, the service I received from Airflo was second to none, A brand new reel was dispatched by recorded delivery the day the faulty one was received, total time without the reel, 3 days! All in all, a quality reel backed up by quality service."
